Federman & Sherwood investigates Abbott Laboratories Employees Credit Union (“ALEC”) for data breach. On October 18, 2024, ALEC filed notice of a data breach with the Attorney General of Maine. ALEC experienced a cybersecurity incident involving an employee’s email account on August 2, 2024. ALEC immediately launched an investigation into the incident.
