Through Brand Geniuz, a content marketing agency based in Mission, Texas, Sam helps businesses and creators use digital storytelling, social media strategy, and brand-building to connect with audiences in more meaningful ways. His role in that work expanded in 2025, when he co-founded and directed Social Fest, the Rio Grande Valley’s first-ever social media and digital marketing conference, powered by Mission EDC. The event brought together more than 1,000 attendees, over 55 speakers, and national media attention. With speakers from across the country and internationally, Social Fest put the Rio Grande Valley on the map as a serious part of the creator economy conversation.

Building on that momentum, Sam is now focused on developing more content, research, and community infrastructure around the Texas Creator Economy. His goal is to help creators and entrepreneurs across the state better understand how social media can become a driver of business growth, partnerships, audience development, and local economic impact.
