Introduced as part of its "You Can't Fake Fresh. You Can't Fake Quality." campaign, the xPro enters North America following its debut at the 2026 NGA Show and strong European adoption

ORLANDO, FL / ACCESS Newswire / April 21, 2026 / Citrus America, a family-owned leader in fresh juice programs for grocery retailers and foodservice operators, has officially launched its Citrocasa xPro juicer in North America, marking a major milestone as the company celebrates 15 years of helping grocery retailers build successful, sustainable fresh juice programs.

The xPro launch is a natural extension of Citrus America's new "You Can't Fake Fresh. You Can't Fake Quality." campaign, which reflects the company's long-held belief that lasting success in grocery juicing depends on operational reliability, long-term support, and program strategy, not just equipment alone. It also underscores the company's commitment to authentically fresh offerings rather than those disguised as fresh.

Since being founded in 2011 by Brian Framson and his late father Ron, Citrus America has spent the last 15 years working alongside independent and regional grocers across North America, helping retailers differentiate themselves in an increasingly competitive grocery landscape. In 2010, Brian and Ron observed that many commercial citrus juicers were broken and missing parts, which was leading to failed juicing programs. That's when they decided they could have a very positive impact on the fresh juice segment.

For many grocery operators, fresh juicing has historically been a point of frustration rather than differentiation. Citrus America says a significant percentage of new customers come to them after experiencing failing juicing programs, due to machine failures, inconsistent juice quality, and unresponsive service with previous programs.

"When most retailers find us, they've already been burned," said Brian Framson, Founder of Citrus America. "They've invested in juicing programs that broke down, disrupted operations, and ultimately hurt the customer experience because support simply wasn't there when they needed it."

Citrus America's approach has proven to reverse that pattern. By pairing superior commercial juicing equipment with training, service, and ongoing operational guidance, the company helps retailers transform juicing from a liability into a long-term growth driver.

"Once retailers switch to Citrus America, they don't just stay...in fact, they grow!" Framson added. "We see customers expand their juice offerings, improve labor efficiency, boost revenue, and turn fresh juice into a true destination inside the store."

Successful programs require consistency. Retailers using Citrus America programs report benefits that extend well beyond the juice bar, including higher in-store frequency, stronger customer loyalty, healthier profits, and a differentiated brand experience that sets them apart from competitors.

Citrus America's juicing programs are currently in use at some of the country's leading grocery retailers, including The Fresh Market and Stew Leonard's, as well as independent grocers such as Baron's Market in Southern California and Busch's Fresh Food Market in Michigan.

These partnerships reflect Citrus America's focus on grocery environments where execution, reliability, and customer experience are critical, and where fresh juice is not a novelty, but a core part of the store's identity. Fresh juice supports transparency and builds trust with the consumer.

The best just got better: Already in use across Europe for more than a year, the xPro arrives in North America with a proven track record in high-volume grocery environments. The xPro is built to run continuously and reliably throughout the day. The machine can juice up to 40 fruits per minute (more than 3 quarts of juice per minute) and is capable of pressing a wide variety of fruits, including oranges, grapefruits, lemons, limes, and even pomegranates, allowing retailers to expand beyond traditional citrus offerings. In fact, the xPro can now handle even larger fruit helping customers juice even bigger grapefruits and pomegranates in their programs, which makes sourcing even easier to support sustainable program success.

A large, responsive 10" customer-facing digital touchscreen enables intuitive operation, training guidance, and on-screen marketing content, while industrial-grade materials, stainless steel components, and a double-cover design support durability and hygiene in high-traffic retail settings. The xPro expands on the already patented SCS Up & Down Knife and Citrocasa's Two Zone Technology. Now, designed with fewer parts and a screwless, one-step pressing system, the xPro simplifies daily cleaning and maintenance, reduces downtime, and supports consistent juice quality, making it a machine built not for demos, but for real-world grocery performance.

Rather than positioning the xPro as a standalone product launch, Citrus America is introducing it as the next evolution of its broader grocery-first philosophy. Simply put: "The best just got better."

"The xPro is a continuation of how we've always worked," Framson said. "It's about protecting our customers' labor, their brand reputation, and their relationship with shoppers. For us, it's always about THE Strategy: Taste, Hygiene, and Efficiency. And now, with the larger fruit capability we've expanded fruit sourcing options and can really lead the industry with the most reliable juicer that can squeeze grapefruit and pomegranate."

The xPro made its first full North American fully-certified appearance at the National Grocers Association (NGA) Show in February, where Citrus America demonstrated the machine live on the show floor, juicing continuously throughout the event. "We juiced navel oranges, cara caras, limes, and some pretty big grapefruit," says Jacob Framson.

The response underscored a growing shift among grocery operators toward long-term value over short-term cost savings, particularly as labor pressures and customer expectations continue to rise. As consumer demand continues to shift toward fresh, natural products, and away from ultra-processed foods (UPFs), Citrus America believes grocery retailers have an opportunity to reclaim differentiation through in-store experiences that are both authentic, profitable, and consistent.

Making their own fresh juice gives grocers a chance to develop their own brand. Private label is a huge opportunity for grocery stores. Making fresh juice, where customers can see it, is a great way to develop trust with the consumer and strengthen their brand.

In a highly competitive environment, the company focuses on helping customers capture market share, strengthen their brand positioning, and build programs that deliver what Citrus America calls ‘Healthy Profits,' or revenue generated through fresh signature offerings that support both shopper wellness and operational sustainability.

While the xPro is ideal for the grocery retail environment, there are plenty of applications in food service as well. Hotels, cocktail bars, schools & universities, breakfast locations, and latin-focused restaurants all have specific needs for a high-volume juicer. Framson, "Having the best citrus press helps our customers add strong, consistent signature products to their menu."

Citrus America will be showing the xPro off at the National Restaurant Show (NRA Show) next month in Chicago, from May 16-19, 2026. The NRA Show is recognized as the largest food service and beverage show in North America.

"A successful juicing program doesn't just sell bottles of juice," Framson said. "It supports labor efficiency, enhances the customer experience, increases basket size, and gives shoppers a reason to come back. That's the difference between a program that thrives rather than one that fails."

"Our ‘You Can't Fake Fresh. You Can't Fake Quality.' campaign reflects who we've been for 15 years," Framson added. "The xPro simply gives us a stronger platform to deliver on it."
