In the application scenarios of toxic, highly corrosive, flammable and explosive media, reliable sealing is the core prerequisite for the safe operation of equipment. Hikelok BS1 series bellows-sealed valve is a valve that uses bellows instead of packing seal, truly achieving "zero leakage" and suitable for various high-risk medium working conditions. It has been widely used in fields such as semiconductors, large-scale testing equipment, petroleum, chemical, nuclear power, etc.
Product Features
・Precision formed bellows provide reliable sealing.・All valves have a helium mass spectrometer leak rate of less than 4×10⁻¹⁰ Pa・m³/s during factory testing.・The maximum working pressure is up to 1000 PSI (68.9 bar).・Working temperature range: -20°F ~ 900°F (-28°C ~ 482°C).・Non rotating valve stem tip: spherical, conical, and regulating types.・The flow coefficient (Cv) ranges from 0.12 to 1.2.・Bellows components and valve body gasket seals are standard configurations, and valve body welding seals can also be provided.・Stainless steel and alloy 400 materials are available for selection.・Multiple port types to choose from.・Panel and bottom installation.・Provide bar and circular handles, as well as pneumatic actuators.
Structural Analysis
The Hikelok BS1 series bellows-sealed valve is mainly composed of a handle, valve body, bellows, stem, stem tip, etc.
The valve body is divided into two structural forms: gasket type seal and welded type seal. The seal does not require daily maintenance and can withstand harsh temperature conditions.
Equipped with a non rotating valve stem tip design, it supports the replacement of three types of stem tip: spherical, conical, and regulating. It can be flexibly selected according to actual working conditions and adapted to various pipeline requirements.

Working principle
This series adopts a two-stage valve stem design, with the upper valve stem rotating through a threaded pair to drive the lower valve stem to achieve non rotating linear motion up and down.
When the handle is turned clockwise, the lower valve stem moves downward and the valve closes; When the handle is turned counterclockwise, the lower valve stem moves upward and the valve opens. The lower valve stem does not rotate, and the switching process does not transmit torque, which can significantly reduce the wear of the valve seat and stem tip sealing surface, effectively extending the service life of the valve.
This design not only improves the sealing reliability, but also makes the valve more suitable for frequent switching requirements.
Pressure temperature performance parameters
The maximum working pressure and temperature range corresponding to different valve body materials, stem tip materials, and sealing forms are different:
