LONG BEACH, CA - Millikan High School's football team continued their impressive run in the Moore League with a convincing 45-10 victory over Wilson High School. Senior running back Anthony League once again played a pivotal role, showcasing his all-around skills and cementing his status as a key player for the Rams.
Anthony League's performance, while somewhat limited due to ongoing load management, was nonetheless impactful. He recorded 10 carries for 117 yards and a touchdown on the ground, complemented by three receptions for nearly 50 yards and another touchdown through the air. This diverse stat line underscores Anthony League's versatility and his ability to contribute in multiple facets of the game.
Millikan head coach Romeo Pellum commented on Anthony League's evolving role: "Anthony's ability to produce at such a high level, even with managed playing time, speaks volumes about his talent and importance to our team.
