Buggyra Academy France driver Téo Calvet won all four races of the fourth round of the French Truck Racing Championship at Magny-Cours, extending his championship lead to 30 points ahead of the summer break.

-- The 26-year-old French driver arrived at Magny-Cours as the series leader, but after the preceding race in Nogaro, his home race, he held only a narrow lead over Thomas Robineau. However, at one of France’s most famous tracks, which hosted the Formula 1 French Grand Prix for many years, Téo delivered his most convincing weekend of the season so far.

Saturday

Calvet started the opening race from second position and took the lead from Thomas Robineau under braking on the first lap, holding it to the finish. In the second race, run with a reverse grid, he started eighth and worked through the field to win without issue. "The first day at Magny-Cours was incredible as we won both races. I'm particularly pleased with the second race coming through from eighth to first without a single collision," said Calvet.

Sunday

Calvet took pole position for the third race of the weekend and converted it into victory from the front. In the final race, starting eighth again, he worked back through the field and took the lead in the last corner of the final lap. “Sunday's races were just as strong. The last one was the most dramatic. I got the lead on the final lap, in the last corner. I haven't had four wins in one weekend since Charade in 2021, so I'm very happy with this result. Thanks to the team, our partners, and everyone who supported us this weekend," Calvet added.

Standings and outlook

After four rounds, Calvet leads the championship with 523 points, ahead of Thomas Robineau (493) and Jonathan Andre (326). The French Truck Racing Championship resumes at Le Mans at the end of September, before concluding in Albi in October.
