Popular poker site’s 25th Anniversary Tournament offers 21 Day 1 flights, cumulative stacks, and a $250 buy-in.
-- Americas Cardroom is marking 25 years of online poker with a $2.5 Million Guaranteed tournament that begins this Saturday, July 18.
The 25th Anniversary Tournament carries a $250 buy-in and includes 21 Day 1 flights across more than two months of play. Its cumulative stack format allows players to combine every stack they advance from Day 1.
That means qualifying once does not end a player’s opportunity to build a larger chip total. Players can continue entering later Day 1 Turbo or Regular Flights, with each surviving stack added to their final Day 2 total.
The online poker tournament opens with 11 Saturday-only Day 1 Turbo Flights. These run weekly from July 18 through September 26.
A further 10 Day 1 Regular Flights begin Sunday, August 30, and continue through Sunday, September 27.
Each Saturday’s schedule also includes a $27.50 Mega Satellite at 10:45am ET before the Turbo Flight. The satellite provides a lower-cost qualification path into the $250 tournament.
The $2.5 Million tournament is one part of Americas Cardroom’s 25th anniversary schedule. The site will also host the record-setting Dual Mystery Bounty Venoms in August, featuring $15 million in combined guarantees.
The $12 Million No-Limit Hold’em Mystery Bounty Venom includes a $500,000 top bounty. The $3 Million Pot-Limit Omaha Mystery Bounty Venom offers a $250,000 top bounty.
More than 1,500 seats are guaranteed through Venom Fever, Americas Cardroom’s satellite promotion for the two poker tournaments.
Day 2 of the $2.5 Million 25th Anniversary Tournament will take place on Monday, September 28. The Final Table is scheduled for Tuesday, September 29.
