Americas Cardroom introduces new tournaments where poker players can win $5,000 packages to the $400,000 GTD Main Event.
-- Americas Cardroom is giving online poker players a chance to qualify for the Moneymaker Poker Tour Main Event in Aruba, with $100,000 in guaranteed prize packages available beginning this Sunday, July 12.
The promotion includes two Beast satellites for the $400,000 Guaranteed Moneymaker Poker Tour Main Event, which takes place in Aruba this September. Each satellite will guarantee 10 prize packages, creating at least 20 total package winners.
Each $5,000 package includes a $1,700 entry to the Main Event, a five-night stay at the TRYP by Wyndham Aruba from September 23 to 28, $1,000 for airfare, and $1,000 in spending money.
The first Beast satellite runs this Sunday, July 12, at 5:05pm ET. The second follows on Sunday, July 19, at 5:05pm ET. Both satellites have a $95 buy-in and guarantee 10 Aruba packages each.
Players can also qualify without a satellite buy-in by placing on The Beast weekly leaderboard.
The online poker satellite path has a strong connection to Chris Moneymaker.
