-- Doudlah Farms Organics, a pioneering family farm committed to organic and sustainable agriculture, is proud to announce its recent designation as Regenerative Organic Certified® (ROC) by Quality Certification Services (QCS), effective April 14, 2025. This prestigious certification recognizes Doudlah Farms' outstanding practices in the key pillars of Soil Health and Social Fairness, establishing the operation as a leader in regenerative agriculture across the Midwest.
The ROC designation, developed by the Regenerative Organic Alliance, sets the highest standard in the world for agriculture. It builds on the USDA Certified Organic standard by incorporating rigorous benchmarks for soil regeneration, animal welfare, and worker fairness.
Doudlah Farms was awarded the Bronze level certification under the ROC Framework v4.1 following extensive on-site inspections and reviews of its practices, processes, and outcomes.
"We are honored to receive this recognition and proud to be part of a movement that is healing our soil, supporting our team, and offering nutritious food grown the right way,” said Mark Doudlah, owner of Doudlah Farms Organics. “This certification validates years of commitment to regenerative farming and ethical food production.”
The certification covers an expansive portfolio of crops grown across 1,345 certified acres, including barley-delete-do not grow barley, buckwheat, popcorn, a wide variety of beans (such as black, cranberry, pinto, and kidney beans; add the unusual beans i.e. Canary Yellow, Small Reds, and Pinks), corn (including heirloom varieties), Food Grade soybeans, peas, sunflowers, hemp-delete no longer grow, Whole wheat, and others.
Doudlah Farms has long been known for its unwavering dedication to clean, non-GMO, and USDA-certified organic food. Now, with Regenerative Organic Certification, the farm deepens its promise to customers, partners, and the planet—leveraging farming as a solution to climate change, soil degradation, and rural economic inequality.
