Panda Windows & Doors’ pivot doors differ from traditional hinge doors in that they rotate open around a hidden spindle located in the top and bottom of the frame, removing the size and weight constraints of door jambs and giving designers the freedom to create doors that can accommodate entryways as high as 24 feet.

While customers may request a number of colors, styles, and finishes for Panda Windows & Doors’ standard pivot doors, the company’s premium Voyage Select line allows for more customization for hardware, including nonstandard locking systems. Buyers who want to improve their home’s security can choose to add a keypad and biometric lock to their door, and this comes with the ability to unlock the door with either a passcode, fingerprints, the companion app, or an RFID card. The accompanying roller latch and multi-point locking mechanisms will have a three-point lock by default, but two extra points can be added for particularly large doors.
Buyers can also customize Voyage Select pivot doors with various glass options, and these will be manufactured with tempered, non-tinted glass. Panda Windows & Doors offers additional energy-efficient alternatives, including Cardinal 270 or Cardinal 366 Low-E coated glass, which reflects heat and lower solar gain, and argon-filled glass, which can improve insulation in the home. Both choices will reduce temperature fluctuations regardless of the season, resulting in lower energy bills for the homeowner.
