Accomplished global people executive will advance DDN’s talent, leadership, and culture strategy as the company expands worldwide

DDN, the global leader in AI and data intelligence solutions, today announced the appointment of Lauren Bloch as Chief People and Culture Officer (CPCO). In this role, Bloch will lead DDN’s global people strategy, including talent acquisition and development, organizational effectiveness, leadership development, employee engagement, workplace experience, and culture.

Bloch will report to Guido Torrini, Chief Financial and Operating Officer (CFOO) at DDN, and will work closely with the company’s executive leadership team to build the organizational capabilities required to support DDN’s continued global growth.

As AI adoption accelerates across enterprises, cloud providers, governments, and research institutions, DDN is expanding its global organization to meet rising customer demand. Bloch will focus on ensuring the company’s talent, culture, and operating model evolve alongside the business. Her responsibilities will include attracting and developing world-class talent, strengthening leadership and succession planning, supporting teams through organizational transformation, and creating a consistent employee experience across DDN’s global operations.

“DDN’s ability to innovate and deliver for customers begins with its people,” said Torrini. “Lauren understands how to build high-performing global organizations while preserving the entrepreneurial energy, technical excellence, and customer commitment that make a company distinctive. Her leadership will help us attract exceptional talent, develop the leaders we need for the future, and strengthen the collaboration that drives innovation across DDN and our ecosystem. This is essential to scaling responsibly and delivering lasting value for our employees, customers, and partners.”

Bloch brings more than 15 years of human resources and organizational leadership experience across public, venture-backed, and private equity-backed technology companies. She joins DDN from Movable Ink, where she served as Chief People Officer and led the company’s People and Workplace Experience teams.

Previously, Bloch spent more than six years at Meta, serving as Global HR Director for multidisciplinary, revenue-generating organizations across more than 35 international markets. In that role, she led a global team of HR professionals, supporting more than 1,000 employees across creative, marketing science, agency, sales, government and social impact, gaming, and industry relations functions.

“DDN is at an extraordinary moment, operating at the center of one of the most consequential technology transformations of our time,” said Bloch. “The opportunity is not only to grow the organization, but to build an environment where talented people can do the best and most meaningful work of their careers. I look forward to partnering with teams across DDN to strengthen our culture, develop our leaders, and create the organizational foundation that enables us to move quickly, serve our customers and partners, and continue advancing innovation in the AI market.”

Bloch is known for helping complex multinational organizations navigate change and translate business strategy into practical talent and organizational programs. Her approach combines first-principles thinking and operational discipline with a strong focus on relationships, employee experience, and the needs of the business.
