Ranked #1 most active and 2nd largest among developers in the Greater Washington region

Comstock Holding Companies, Inc. (Nasdaq: CHCI) (“Comstock”), a leading asset manager, developer, and operator of mixed-use, transit-oriented properties and large-scale infrastructure developments in the Washington, D.C. region, today announced that it has been ranked #1 on the Washington Business Journal's Most Active Commercial Real Estate Developers list and #2 on the publication's Largest Commercial Real Estate Developers list.

The commercial real estate rankings, which are released annually by Washington Business Journal ("WBJ"), recognize Comstock's sustained leadership in the greater metropolitan D.C. market and reflect a growth trajectory and development pipeline that few peers in the region can match.

  • The WBJ Most Active list ranks developers by the total amount of square footage under construction in the D.C. Metro area 2025. Comstock's total of 4.6 million square feet was not only good for the top spot in the rankings, but also more than two times greater than the next closest developer.
  • The WBJ Largest list ranks developers by the total number of employees located in the region. Comstock's 600+ local employees were good for the #2 spot in the rankings.

"We're incredibly proud to see Comstock recognized among the top commercial real estate developers in the Washington region," said Christopher Clemente, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Comstock. "This recognition belongs to our entire team. Their hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence are what make achievements like this possible. Congratulations to everyone at Comstock on this accomplishment, and thank you for everything you do to help move our company forward each day."
