Moving iMage Technologies Wins Vendor of the Year Award at 2022 Geneva Convention

Moving iMage Technologies (NYSE American: MITQ) ("MiT"), a leading digital cinema technology company, today announced that it was named “Vendor of the Year” by the local National Association of Theater Owners (NATO) chapters and was presented the award at the 2022 Geneva Convention in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. The Geneva Convention had been on hiatus since 2019, and this was the first significant event targeting the cinema space in the Midwest.

“We’re honored to receive this prestigious award during the Geneva Convention’s first live event in three years,” said Joe Delgado, executive vice president of marketing and sales at MiT. “Overall, the convention was a success with a return to in-person meetings and events, and it was great to see so many familiar and new faces in person.

“Our focus on the current needs and evolving opportunities for cinema operators, including ADA compliance and eSports, positions us as the vendor of choice for these customers. We look forward to continuing to bring a standard of excellence to the industry.

“Interest in eSports among cinema operators in attendance was extremely high following the live eSports demonstration we hosted with our partner SNDBX as an evening event after the Gala Awards Dinner. We followed the event with a business seminar the next morning, where the details of the SNDBX eSports model were presented to potential customers. We look forward to working with SNDBX to grow this new and exciting part of our business,” concluded Delgado.

“Moving iMage Technologies is a longtime supporter of Geneva Convention, and their team is very well-respected by exhibitors in the Midwest,” said Geneva Convention Co-chairmen George Rouman, president of Rouman Amusement Company, and John Scaletta, vice president at F&F Management. “Not only is MiT a leading technology and integration company for big ticket items, but with their recent emphasis on ADA compliance for the hearing and visually impaired, and their new eSports partnership with SNDBX, their diversification will allow them to meet the growing expectations of our evolving industry.”
