Entrepreneurs Marco Robinson and Rob Fitzpatrick have announced plans for Naked Diablo Airlines, a new aviation venture designed to combine transparent pricing, membership rewards, travel experiences and customer ownership opportunities into one integrated travel ecosystem.

Together with veteran airline operator Phil Wyatt, the founders aim to challenge traditional airline models by building a brand that gives passengers more than a seat. Naked Diablo Airlines is being developed around a simple idea: customers should not only fly with an airline, but also feel connected to the value they help create.

The concept behind Naked Diablo Airlines grew from Robinson and Fitzpatrick's work on Naked Diablo Tequila, a premium spirits brand that became the subject of a television documentary exploring entrepreneurship, branding and growth. Through that journey, the founders identified a larger opportunity to expand Naked Diablo into a broader lifestyle platform spanning travel, hospitality, memberships, rewards and experiences.

Naked Diablo Airlines is expected to begin by focusing on underserved routes in the Northern United Kingdom before expanding into Europe and, over time, longer-haul destinations.

The company's planned model is built around transparent pricing, with one fare and no hidden extras.

Rather than positioning itself as another low-cost carrier, Naked Diablo intends to create what it describes as a premium lifestyle airline.

"We're not trying to become another low-cost airline," Robinson said. "We're building the airline people wish existed."

At the centre of the company's strategy is the phrase "Fly. Earn. Own." The model is designed to move beyond conventional loyalty programmes by giving passengers, members and supporters ways to participate in the growth of the Naked Diablo ecosystem.

The company plans to create multiple customer touchpoints through aviation, travel, hospitality, rewards, artificial intelligence, consumer products, partnerships and live experiences. A key part of the strategy is Naked.Travel, a travel platform intended to combine flights, hotels and curated experiences in one booking environment.

"Aviation is one piece of the puzzle," Robinson said. "The ecosystem is where the real value compounds."

The business also plans to integrate artificial intelligence into the member experience. Future members are expected to have access to a personalised AI travel concierge capable of recommending destinations, upgrades, travel packages and curated experiences based on individual preferences.

The founding team brings together experience across aviation, entrepreneurship, branding, finance and private capital markets. Phil Wyatt brings more than three decades of airline operating experience, including launching and scaling aviation businesses across Europe. Marco Robinson is a serial entrepreneur, global investor, Channel 4 television host and bestselling author. Rob Fitzpatrick is an entrepreneur and investor with experience across property, renewable energy, private capital markets and family-office relationships.
