Their main aim is to wow the customers with their service, food and personal approach to delivery and pickup services.
Every Fall the Mac and Cheese Eating Contest would bring out brave souls looking to walk away with that heavy title belt. Every Summer Mac Shack brought in interns to learn more than cooking soul food. Giving back to the community was as much a part of the family recipes as the award-winning ORIGINAL Mac Shack Jerk Mac’n Cheese.

For ten years the two partners who grew up closer than most friends or siblings worked on perfecting their love of the traditional Macaroni and Cheese side dish and their respect and appreciation of Brooklyn. To read the Mac Shack menu would be like reading a Brooklyn neighborhood map. Whether you’re from Brooklyn North or Brooklyn South, carnivore or vegan, the brothers made this side dish the star. When the Pandemic lockdown hit they did everything to save every one of the employees’ livelihoods. Not one person missed a paycheck but tragically the world lost Mac Shack’s beacon of light and energy. Kevin James passed away November of 2020.

In 2022 Mac Shack is looking to realize Kevin’s dream of participating in a Food Network event. In celebration of Mac Shack’s 10th Anniversary and in memory of one of the brightest shining lights of Brooklyn, the irreplaceable Kevin James, Mac Shack’s Original Jerk Mac’n Cheese will be present at the 15th Anniversary of the NYC Wine and Food Festival hosted by the Food Network and God’s Love We Deliver.
