U of M Rochester chief winning supporters for three-year college plan

More than a dozen colleges have signed onto a program called College in 3, which seeks to lower higher education costs by shaving a year off of the traditional four-year curriculum for some majors. The chancellor of University of Minnesota Rochester is one of the leaders of the movement.
