About Urvil Patel, NP, MSN, RN, BSRT(R), AGACNP-BC
As chief nurse practitioner, Urvil will work closely with patients to tailor personalized treatment plans, including conservative and procedural options. Specializing in minimally invasive procedures to give patients relief from arterial and venous conditions, Urvil’s focus is to help patients regain their baseline activity functions.
Urvil originally attended The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, where he received a Bachelor of Science in radiologic technology. After working at The Ohio State University Medical Center in vascular and interventional radiology, he advanced his career by pursuing a Master of Nursing, becoming an adult gerontology acute care nurse practitioner at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. While attending graduate school, Urvil worked in the medical and respiratory ICU and served as a mentor for many students. He continues to serve as a mentor and educator for new nurse practitioners. He is a certified adult gerontology acute care NP, a registered phlebology sonographer, and a member of the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART).
Urvil greatly enjoys the vascular aspect of medicine. He has performed over 2,000 minimally invasive procedures under a physician’s supervision. “I find extreme gratitude when patients are able to have a minimally invasive procedure significantly impact their life,” he says. He also believes in individualizing treatment plans for each unique patient. Urvil says, “When both conservative and procedural options are available, patients do not feel pressured into having either minimally or extensively invasive procedures.” As a specialized provider, he strives to have smiling patients.
Outside of work Urvil enjoys trying different types of vegetarian cuisine, cooking, traveling, and spending time with his family. He is fluent in English, Hindi, and Gujarati. Urvil is accepting new patients and looks forward to providing care at Precision Vascular in Arlington, Texas.
