Lazard Ltd (NYSE: LAZ) announced today that Prasad Parmeshwaran has joined the firm as a Managing Director in the Healthcare Group within Financial Advisory, effective immediately. Based in San Francisco, Mr. Parmeshwaran primarily advises clients on financial matters in the biotechnology and diagnostics sectors.

Prior to joining Lazard, Mr. Parmeshwaran was a Managing Director at Cowen Inc. where he built and oversaw the firm’s Healthcare M&A group since 2016. Earlier in his career he held investment banking roles in the healthcare group at Goldman Sachs, where he worked for 10 years. Mr. Parmeshwaran obtained his postgraduate diploma in management from the Indian Institute of Management, and his M.B.A. from the New York University Stern School of Business.
