2X Concurrent Amazon Bestselling Author Matilda Tart Expands Blue Butterfly Publications with a First-of-Its-Kind Ecosystem of Inclusive Books, Cognitive Tools and Community Experiences.

Dallas, Texas, USA - August 26, 2026 - What began as one mother searching for better ways to support her neurodivergent child has grown into a mission designed to help families around the world find the resources, representation and support she once struggled to find.

Matilda Tart, U.S. Army Veteran, Cognitive Tool Occupational Specialist, technology professional and Founder of Blue Butterfly Writing LLC and Blue Butterfly Publications, is expanding her For Little Sunshine brand with an innovative ecosystem combining inclusive children's literature, cognitive and sensory tools, educational resources and community experiences.

Tart is also celebrating another milestone: becoming a 2X Concurrent Amazon Bestselling Author, with two books from her Little Sunshine series reaching bestseller status simultaneously.

Her newest release, Little Sunshine's Daily Routine, continues a growing collection inspired by Tart's personal experience raising a child with special needs and her years of research, collaboration and advocacy within the autism and neurodivergent communities.

FROM SEARCHING FOR ANSWERS TO CREATING THE SOLUTION

Tart's journey began with a problem familiar to many parents: she needed resources to help her child navigate everyday life, but she could not find everything she needed in one place.

So she began creating it.

Working with specialists, doctors and subject-matter experts within the autism community, Tart transformed years of lived experience into books, workbooks, cognitive resources and sensory-support products designed to help children develop coping strategies while helping parents better understand their children.

Today, that vision has evolved into an inclusive ecosystem serving neurodivergent children and families while expanding its reach to special-needs adults, disabled veterans, childcare facilities and other organizations supporting individuals who may benefit from cognitive and sensory resources.

"Children on the Spectrum deserve to see themselves represented in stories that also support their sensory, emotional and developmental needs," Tart said. "I spent years searching for answers for my own child. When I couldn't find what we needed, I decided to help create the resources I wished had existed for us."

MORE THAN BOOKS: BUILDING AN INCLUSIVE ECOSYSTEM

Through the Tilda Tart and For Little Sunshine brands, Blue Butterfly Publications is developing an integrated collection of books and cognitive tools created to help support emotional regulation, social understanding, fine-motor development, stress management and everyday routines.

The company is also extending that mission beyond products and into the community.

Tart has hosted special-needs community experiences in Allen, Texas, including a social experience for neurodivergent children and their siblings and a Special Needs Family Fair designed to bring families, resources and community support together.

Her goal is simple but ambitious: create the type of connected support system she once searched for herself.

A VETERAN, TECHNOLOGIST AND ENTREPRENEUR REDEFINING WHAT INCLUSION CAN LOOK LIKE

Before becoming an author and entrepreneur, Tart built a career spanning more than 25 years in information technology. Her background includes web development, multimillion-dollar federal infrastructure projects, project management and artificial-intelligence integration.

She is now bringing that same systems-thinking approach to Blue Butterfly Publications—building not simply individual products, but an interconnected platform for accessibility and inclusion.

Her work has begun attracting regional and national attention.

Blue Butterfly Publications was selected as the Collin County Black Chamber of Commerce Company Spotlight for June 2026, while Tart and her company have secured appearances and features across television, magazines, podcasts and regional media.

Her growing media presence includes Women in Power on Inside Success Network, Female Entrepreneurs Magazine, The Frisco Insider, Blue Mic Studio Podcast, Growing Your Business Podcast and a Military Spotlight appearance on Movie Reviews N More.

Tart is also scheduled to be featured on Go Shop America on Zondra TV Network, bringing the Blue Butterfly story and product line to an expanding television audience.

TAKING THE MISSION GLOBAL

Blue Butterfly Publications is now positioning the brand for international growth, including multilingual expansion and strategic relationships with schools, therapy and pediatric organizations, special-education communities, military-family networks and global retail and distribution partners.

As a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, the company is also expanding its business-to-business opportunities with organizations seeking inclusive resources for neurodivergent and special-needs communities.

For Tart, however, the mission remains deeply personal.

The company she built is ultimately about ensuring another parent does not have to begin their journey without resources, representation or a roadmap.

Blue Butterfly Publications is turning one family's search for answers into an ecosystem designed to help thousands of others find theirs.
