Luxe Cruises opens tickets for the 2026 San Francisco Fleet Week bay cruise

San Francisco, CA - August 21, 2026 - Luxe Cruises & Events, a private San Francisco yacht charter company operating out of Alameda, California, has opened tickets for its 2026 San Francisco Fleet Week cruise, a chartered sail on San Francisco Bay timed to the annual Blue Angels air show. The cruise gives guests a seat on the water for the show instead of a spot on a crowded pier.

San Francisco Fleet Week runs October 4 through 12, 2026, with the air show scheduled for the weekend of October 9 through 11. This year's event marks the U.S. Navy's 250th anniversary and the Blue Angels' 80th year of flight, and organizers expect a full return of military participation after last year's shutdown-shortened schedule.

Luxe Cruises has built its Fleet Week sailing around the Sunday 10/11 air show, with boarding set for 1 p.m. at the company's home dock, 2394 Mariner Square Drive in Alameda.

Check-in begins at 12:45 p.m., and the boat cruises the bay from 1:15 to 5 p.m. Parking at the dock is free.

What a ticket includes

Guests board the Cabernet Sauvignon yacht, a four-deck, 124-foot vessel with an open-air sky deck. Seating is cruise-ship style, at tables of eight to 10, with each ticket covering:

  • A buffet meal and an open bar

  • Live entertainment

  • Passing views of Alcatraz, the Golden Gate Bridge, the Bay Bridge and the San Francisco skyline

  • A kids' meal option for ages 3 to 11

  • Vegetarian and other dietary requests, submitted at least 48 hours ahead by emailing hello@luxecruises.com

Because the yacht holds a fixed number of guests and the sailing sells out most years, the company is recommending early reservations rather than waiting until October.

Why watch from the water

The waterfront gets packed for Fleet Week. Fisherman's Wharf, the Marina Green and the piers fill early, and once a spot is claimed, moving for a better angle isn't an option. A boat on the bay solves that problem differently: guests get an open view of the flight line with room to walk between the deck and the dining area, and the yacht repositions during the show rather than staying fixed at one rail.

"Fleet Week from a boat is a different event than Fleet Week from the shore," said CEO Toby Proescher. Guests get the jets low over the water, a meal that doesn't involve standing in a food-truck line, and a way home that isn't a two-hour walk back to a parking garage."
