UNIONDALE, NY / ACCESS Newswire / April 2, 2026 / Marquis Who's Who honors Jason Mazzoni as a Top Professional in the field of technology. Mr. Mazzoni was chosen for his contributions to operations leadership, technology consulting, and service-driven management. His career blends military service, operational discipline, and technology expertise across both the public and private sectors.

Mr. Mazzoni serves as co-founder and chief operating officer of XA3 Inc., a veteran-owned experience platform consultancy that helps enterprises operationalize their technology to drive measurable business outcomes for their customers, partners, and employees. In this role, Mr. Mazzoni leads the integration of strategy, operations, and services, with a focus on removing the friction between people and technology. His leadership has built innovative and operationally excellent delivery teams that solve some of the most complex challenges in the industry.
Service Built on a Naval Academy Foundation
Mr. Mazzoni attributes much of his leadership perspective to his military experience. After graduating from the United States Naval Academy with a Bachelor of Science in naval architecture and marine engineering, he began active-duty service in the U.S. Navy.
Mr. Mazzoni's first assignment was overseas aboard USS Curtis Wilbur, where he served as the electrical officer and then as the anti-submarine warfare officer. He later returned stateside to serve aboard USS John Paul Jones as the navigator before completing his final tour as the surface search and rescue model manager.
Following active duty, Mr. Mazzoni continued serving in the Navy Reserve at the Military Sealift Command Expeditionary Port Unit 114, concluding his naval career at the rank of lieutenant commander.
Military service played a defining role in shaping Mr. Mazzoni's leadership approach. Operating in high-stakes environments reinforced his belief that leadership is grounded in accountability, trust, and a clear commitment to the success of every individual on the team.
Mentorship and Career Development for Teams
Following his military service, Mr. Mazzoni moved into high technology and then technology consulting, initially with roles at ASML, a global semiconductor technology company. While at ASML, he served first as the plasma control project manager and later as the EUV source software integration program manager. These roles required coordinating cross-functional teams in support of the commercialization of cutting-edge semiconductor manufacturing technology.
Mr. Mazzoni then joined a boutique technology consulting firm as the Director of Client Operations, where he led service delivery and client success across complex engagements while mentoring consulting teams. Many professionals who worked under his leadership credit his mentorship with shaping their careers and leadership philosophies.
A Focus on Experience-Led Transformation
Through his work at XA3, Mr. Mazzoni has developed a distinct perspective on why many digital transformation efforts fall short. While organizations continue to invest heavily in new technologies, the challenge often lies not in capability, but in the use of those technologies.
His approach centers on experience-led transformation across customer, partner and employee environments, focusing on how people interact with systems in real-world conditions. By designing workflows that are intuitive, aligned and context-driven, his teams help organizations convert technological potential into consistent business performance.
"Technology only creates value when people use it effectively," he explains. "Experience is what turns capability into performance."
Emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence are incorporated as part of this broader experience strategy. Rather than positioning AI as a standalone solution, Mr. Mazzoni emphasizes embedding it into workflows in ways that enhance usability, improve decision-making and reduce friction in day-to-day operations.
His work reflects a broader belief that organizations do not transform through technology alone, but through the experiences they create around it. In this model, experience is not a layer on top of systems; it is the mechanism through which systems succeed or fail.
He also underscores the importance of governance and data protection as integral components of experience design, ensuring that systems remain secure, trustworthy and scalable across customer, partner, and employee interactions.
Professional Recognition and Community Support
Prior to the Marquis Who's Who designation, Mr. Mazzoni was recognized for excellence and impact in both his military service and civilian careers. His awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, two Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals, the Humanitarian Service Medal, the Joint Meritorious Unit Award, and, in 2024, he was named one of the Top 100 Digital Adoption Platform Professionals by WalkMe. These honors reflect Mr. Mazzoni's commitment to leadership and dedication to professional mastery.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Mr. Mazzoni volunteers with the Foundation of Hope, supporting its mission: to conquer mental illness by investing in ground-breaking scientific research and mental health initiatives. He also enjoys sailing, golfing, and participating in amateur radio activities.
