Key Milestones in Energy Law
Before joining Western Midstream in Houston, Ms. Falco worked as counsel for Resource Environmental Solutions from 2023 to 2024. There, she oversaw easement closings for the company's assets in approximately 20 states. This position marked her first in-house role. Additionally, it solidified her ability to collaborate with title companies, landowners and legal teams to close agreements.
From 2018 to 2023, she sharpened her skills at Mazurek, Belden & Burke P.C. During her tenure, Ms. Falco advanced from associate attorney to senior associate. In this capacity, she specialized in drafting title and lease acquisition opinions. Other duties included advising oil and gas developers on land acquisitions and drilling operations. At this point, Ms. Falco gained knowledge of renewable energy law. In addition, she earned board certification from the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in oil, gas and mineral law.
Ms. Falco now handles legal matters for Western Midstream. As part of her work, she manages pipeline easements, land acquisitions, leasing agreements and asset-related disputes across multiple states. Ms. Falco's role is central to protecting the company's operations.
Service to the Legal Community
One of the high points of Ms. Falco's career was an invitation from a legal group to speak at its annual continuing legal education event in San Antonio. Still early in her career, the opportunity to give a presentation on renewable energy law to seasoned attorneys became a pivotal moment in her career. The experience led to more presentations and published articles.
As a published writer, Ms. Falco's articles have appeared in various professional publications, including the RMMLF Journal. Meanwhile, she continues to present at industry events. These contributions reflect her dedication to supporting others in the legal and energy sectors.
