VANCOUVER, BC, November 17, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- A cannabis dispensary in Vancouver is struggling to keep up with sales after recently launching a product line of weed advent calendars full of medicinal pot and marijuana edibles.
So far, Budmail 420 says it's sold more than 200 of the calendars for between $200 and $500 each. The calendars can be customized with products that can be smoked or eaten, from gummy bears to chocolate bars — and even products safe for pets.
"It has been crazy. We didn't anticipate that it was going to take off like this," said Dylan Fawcett, President and CEO of Budmail 420.
Fawcett started his business last fall. He doesn't smoke pot himself, but says he changed his thinking about marijuana after working in a friend's dispensary and seeing testimonials from seniors and people with epilepsy who said they were getting medical relief from the products.
"It's kind of changed my whole perspective on it," he continued.
A reputable online dispensary in Canada
The weed advent calendar packages will be sent to customers through Canada Post, FedEx, UPS and Purolator.
So far Fawcett says he's shipped his products within Canada unfettered, but international laws are different and he says he's had to turn down orders from as far away as France, the U.K. and the Philippines.
Fawcett also mentioned that customers must be older than 19 and many are seniors with health issues, often looking to relieve symptoms from epilepsy, depression and migraines.
Products must be sealed to cut down scent and the package can't be labelled so it's not obvious there is pot inside.
