What is the market telling us

Warby Parker’s shares are extremely volatile and have had 60 moves greater than 5% over the last year. But moves this big are rare even for Warby Parker and indicate this news significantly impacted the market’s perception of the business.

The previous big move we wrote about was 22 days ago when the stock dropped 4.5% on the news that major indices pulled back and retail equities faced pressure as the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported a hotter-than-expected September inflation print, pushing Treasury yields higher.

As detailed by the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the consumer price index rose 3.7% year-over-year in September, topping the 3.6% estimate from economists polled by Dow Jones.

Warby Parker is up 13.7% since the beginning of the year, but at $25.72 per share, it is still trading 15.2% below its 52-week high of $30.34 from June 2026. Despite the year-to-date gain, investors who bought $1,000 worth of Warby Parker’s shares 5 years ago would now be looking at only $448.46.

ONE MORE THING: The $21 AI Application Stock Wall Street Forgot. While Wall Street obsesses over who’s building AI, one company is already using it to print money. And nobody’s paying attention.

AI chip stocks trade at ridiculous valuations. This company processes a trillion consumer signals monthly using AI and trades at a third of the price. The gap won’t last. The institutions will figure it out. You need to see this first. Read the FREE Report Before They Notice.
