Before the event, Jamie and friends will enjoy lunch with Blues Queen, Ms. Diunna Greenleaf, at Central Barbeque, Memphis.

Following the awards ceremony, Blues Disciples will head to Water Valley, Mississippi, to meet with local musician and venue owner Justin Showah at the Crawdad Hole. Justin produced and performed on the only published recording made by Delta blues legend L.C. Ulmer. The group will then travel to Clarksdale, Mississippi, to explore the rich blues heritage of the region, including visits to the Highway 61 Blues Museum, the Grammy Awards Museum, and several blues venues and juke joints.

They will also attend a fundraiser for the Pinetop Perkins Foundation at a blues jam at Ground Zero to benefit children and the elderly.

"Blues Disciples are thrilled to be a part of this year's Blues Music Awards and to continue our exploration of the blues legacy in Mississippi," said Jamie Anthony, host of Blues Disciples Podcasts. "These trips allow us to connect with blues artists, industry leaders, and fans, furthering our mission to entertain and educate people about the importance of this uniquely American art form."
