Atlas® Van Lines today announces the promotion of Greg Williams to Corporate Controller. After dedicating 17 years of his career at Atlas, Williams has been selected for this role due to his commitment and increasing accountability across core finance functions.

“Greg is known for his deep accounting expertise, strong command of the business, and a leadership approach that challenges teams to recognize and operate at their full potential,” said Stacie Banks, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Atlas Van Lines. His tenure at Atlas, combined with his experience outside the organization, provides invaluable perspective as our Finance function continues to evolve.”

As Corporate Controller, Williams' responsibilities will expand to include Treasury, Accounts Receivable, Collections and Atlas International Accounting, in addition to his current oversight of Corporate Accounting, Tax and Financial Reporting. This broadened scope reflects Williams’ consistent ability to deliver results, raise standards across the organization, and the trajectory of Atlas’s broadening financial operations.

“I’m grateful for the opportunity and eager to continue investing in the next generation of finance leaders,” said Williams. “My focus is on supporting future growth and efficiency by leveraging new technologies and transforming processes to strengthen controls.”

Williams joined Atlas in 2009 as Director of Internal Audit and has held roles of increasing scope and leadership over his time with the company. In 2022, he was promoted to Senior Director & Controller, positioning him well for his new role as Corporate Controller. He is a graduate of the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University and is a Certified Internal Auditor and a Certified Public Accountant.
