VENU welcomes Paola Palazzo, Senior Vice President and Head of Talent (left), and Kevin Couch, Senior Vice President (right).

“You can build the most beautiful venue in the world, but it all comes down to who’s on stage,” said J.W. Roth, Founder, Chairman, and CEO of VENU. “This elite team is still growing and comes with deep relationships across the industry, unique programming knowledge, and a track record of filling buildings, and that's what turns our venues into year-round destinations for fans and strong performers for our shareholders.”

The additions come as VENU builds what it believes is a new asset class in live entertainment: multi-seasonal, more-than-music venues with multi-configuration capability for year-round programming and immersive videoboards and other technology that will bring fans deeper inside the performance. Palazzo and Couch will help shape that programming across the Company’s growing portfolio.

Paola Palazzo, Senior Vice President and Head of Talent

Palazzo joins VENU to lead talent strategy and programming as the Company continues to scale its portfolio. She brings more than 35 years of experience across the live entertainment industry, specializing in talent booking, artist development, venue profitability, and new revenue streams. Most recently, she founded and led Work Together Inc., a Toronto-based live entertainment consultancy, where she specialized in securing venue agreements for immersive experiences in major and secondary markets.

Palazzo previously served as Vice President of Talent at Live Nation Concerts Canada, where she supported concert bookings throughout Ontario and Quebec and developed a diverse slate of Latin, K-pop, and non-traditional programming. She spent more than a decade at Creative Artist Agency (CAA), where she built relationships that continue to fuel her work today. Her career further includes Vice President roles at Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment, MSG Entertainment, and Nederlander Concerts, where she shaped programming strategies and drove growth across some of North America’s most prominent venues.

Palazzo has been nominated for Pollstar’s Talent Buyer of the Year (2009) and recognized by Billboard's Women in Music, Venues Today’s Women of Influence, and the Los Angeles Business Journal.

Kevin Couch, Senior Vice President of Talent

Couch brings 20 years of experience in the live entertainment industry, combining talent buying and artist management expertise with an entrepreneurial track record of founding and growing companies. He joins VENU to help shape talent strategy and build a year-round calendar across the Company’s venues.

He most recently served as Vice President of Music, Comedy & Events for ATG Entertainment, leading programming across a multi-market portfolio that included San Antonio’s Majestic Theatre, Empire Theatre, and The Espee; Fisher Theatre in Detroit; Tulsa Performing Arts Center; Juanita K. Hammons Hall in Springfield, Missouri; and Robinson Center in Little Rock, Arkansas. His programming credits include Sabrina Carpenter, Santana, Diana Ross, ZZ Top, Nate Bargatze, and Joe Rogan.

Previously, Couch served as Senior Vice President of Artistic Programming at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C., where he oversaw live events, music, comedy, Broadway, and televised programs.

Couch has also managed multi-platinum recording group Color Me Badd since 2017. Earlier in his career, he founded CBC Creative, a Dallas-based creative agency working across branding, advertising, music, and entertainment before selling the company in 2018.

Joining an Established Team

Palazzo and Couch join an accomplished team that includes Hamilton Byrd, who brings more than 15 years of experience in live music and is known for championing artists early in their careers, including Zach Top, The Red Clay Strays, Mack Geiger, and The Band Loula. The team is further supported by a network of seasoned industry professionals with decades of combined experience in concert promotion and talent buying.
