Keyfactor Expands Agentic AI Capabilities with Command MCP Server Now Available in AWS Marketplace

Next-generation architecture delivers multi-user scalability, centralized management, and broad AI client support to advance “PKI for AI”

Keyfactor, the industry leader in digital trust for modern enterprises, today announced the availability of the Keyfactor Command MCP Server in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Marketplace, representing a significant step toward enabling secure, AI-assisted certificate operations and establishing a foundation for Agentic AI trust (“PKI for AI”).

This release introduces a completely re-architected, multi-user MCP Server, expanding beyond the original prototype’s single-user design to support a wide range of Agentic AI clients—including web, desktop, and mobile experiences—all authenticating to a single instance of the Command MCP Server.

“This new architecture is a major milestone in connecting AI systems with digital trust infrastructure,” said Ted Shorter, CTO of Keyfactor. “By making it available as an experimental deployment on AWS, we’re inviting the community to explore how AI agents can accelerate zero trust deployments and other PKI initiatives, and how those same systems can, in turn, secure the AI ecosystem.”

Key Enhancements and Expanded Use Cases

The updated Command MCP Server evolves from a desktop-only, 1:1 configuration to a scalable, centrally managed deployment model with several key improvements:

  • Remote Server Architecture: Supports multiple AI clients connecting securely to a single MCP instance.
  • Multi-User Access: Allows multiple users to share a single server deployment with centralized control.
  • Containerized, Deployment-Ready Image: Delivered as a ready-to-run container image supporting direct deployment on AWS.
  • Centralized Management: Enables unified visibility and oversight of deployed MCP infrastructure.
  • AWS Marketplace Listing: Simplifies evaluation and testing within secure AWS environments.

The Command MCP Server’s availability in AWS Marketplace underscores Keyfactor’s ongoing collaboration with AWS. The listing provides a frictionless way for developers and researchers to deploy, test, and contribute to the evolution of secure AI integrations.
