The 2025 guide lists Robert Tobey and Chad Baruch

Johnston Tobey Baruch is pleased to announce the selection of its shareholders Robert Tobey and Chad Baruch to Lawdragon’s 500 Leading Lawyers in America for 2025. The widely read legal guide spotlights the nation’s best attorneys.

The annual guide, now in its 20th year, conducts a review process that includes journalistic research and vetting to select honorees. This year’s honorees are described as those who have transformed the legal profession and its craft to an “art.”

Mr. Baruch was selected for the third time. He maintains a national appellate practice and regularly appears before Texas appellate courts, including the Texas Supreme Court. He is Board Certified in Civil Appellate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and has presented oral arguments in more than 120 appeals.

Mr. Tobey, former President of the Dallas Bar Association and elected director of the State Bar of Texas Board of Directors, is commended for his outstanding practice in professional liability and business litigation. His extensive background includes Board Certification in Consumer and Commercial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
