Integrative Life Center Opens New Satellite Location in Chattanooga

The Nationally Recognized Trauma Treatment Center Headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee Launches Extended Care Programming in Chattanooga

Integrative Life Center of Nashville (ILC), a nationally recognized center providing trauma-focused treatment for mental health and substance since 2010, is expanding with a new location in Chattanooga focused on treatment for adults.

ILC Chattanooga, located at 7385 Applegate Lane, will provide partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient (IOP) services for mental health and substance use, utilizing the company’s trauma-focused treatment approach with an integrative and holistic model to treat root causes instead of focusing on outward symptoms and behaviors.

Integrative Life Center’s expansion into Chattanooga provides essential growth for the parent company, Integrative Life Network, a family of trauma-focused treatment centers for mental health, substance use, and intimacy disorders. ILN’s network of centers also includes Begin Again Institute, a 14-day intensive program for men struggling with intimacy disorders, and Boulder Recovery, a clinically intensive, Christian 14-day intensive program for men struggling with intimacy disorders.

“Serving the growing mental health and substance use issues in a great community like Chattanooga is so important,” Cessna said. “There have been many studies about the epidemic of loneliness that predates the pandemic. This is a perfect opportunity to expand our heart-centered care, supporting clients to reconnect with themselves and the community in a positive way.”

Integrative Life Center Chattanooga (https://integrativelifecenter.com/chattanooga/), provides PHP and IOP services for mental health and substance use to all adults, ages 18+. Integrative Life Center is also announcing its new ILC Oxford location (https://integrativelifecenter.com/oxford/), located at 405 Galleria, STE C, providing IOP services for mental health and substance use with a specialized student focus for the collegiate community.

The ILC Chattanooga team includes new Program Director, Teresa Shakir. She states, “Our mission is to help people heal, live authentically, and create a life of purpose. We are very excited to provide this within the Chattanooga community to combat the increasing rates of depression, suicide, and substance use disorders.”

ILC Chattanooga is now open and accepting new clients into the program.
