Keller Williams Expands into São Paulo, Brazil, Amid Worldwide Momentum

Keller Williams (KW), the world's largest real estate technology franchise by agent count, is expanding across South America. As momentum continues, KW has awarded a new master franchise in São Paulo, Brazil.

“In the midst of a rapidly shifting global market due to COVID-19, our global regions continue to make monumental gains and our pipeline of new regions continues to be robust,” said William E. Soteroff, president of Keller Williams Worldwide (KWW), the international division of kwx, the holding company of KW.

  • KWW is home to more than 14,708 agents (outside of the United States and Canada), up 22.7% over the same period 2020.
  • Agents closed 56,595 transactions YTD in 2021, up 59.4% over the same period 2020.
  • Agents closed $10.8 billion in sales volume YTD in 2021, up 94.5% over the same period 2020.

“Across South America alone, we currently stand strong with 17 market centers and close to 1,000 agents collectively in the seven existing regions,” said Soteroff. “And, we are excited now to announce our eighth region in South America and welcome José Federighi of São Paulo, Brazil, along with his amazing leaders and core group to our worldwide family.”

Led by Regional Operating Principal José Roberto Saldanha Federighi, the Keller Williams franchise in São Paulo, Brazil, is currently initializing operations. In Q1 ’22, KW São Paulo, Brazil, is expected to open its first market center.

Since 1986, Federighi has served in a range of renowned companies serving the Brazilian real estate sector across a multitude of senior leadership and executive-level roles. Federighi has also served as the CEO for Brazil Brokers São Paulo for eight years and as a member of the Board of Brasil Brokers for two years.
