One-time $5,000 grant to be awarded at the Savvy Ladies Volunteer Summit in New York City
BOSTON, MA / ACCESS Newswire / March 26, 2026 / The Invest in Others Charitable Foundation ("Invest in Others") and Savvy Ladies today announced a collaboration designed to build community within the financial services industry, spotlight a mission-driven financial advisor, and strengthen awareness of the vital connection between financial education, charitable efforts, and long-term community impact. The collaboration reflects a shared commitment to empowering women through financial education, advancing values-driven leadership, and elevating advisors whose community engagement extends beyond their professional practice.
Through this initiative, Invest in Others will award a one-time $5,000 grant to a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization championed by an eligible financial advisor who is an active volunteer with Savvy Ladies. The selected advisor and nonprofit will be recognized during the Savvy Ladies Volunteer Summit on May 12, 2026, in New York City.
"At Invest in Others, we believe that financial advisors play a powerful role in guiding clients, as well as strengthening communities," said Barkley Payne, President and CEO of Invest in Others. "Savvy Ladies has long been a leader in advancing financial knowledge and confidence for women. Through this collaboration, we are proud to recognize an advisor who exemplifies charitable leadership and to provide meaningful support to the nonprofit organization they personally champion."
The grant recipient will be announced live at the Savvy Ladies Volunteer Summit on May 12, where Invest in Others Board member Abby Salameh, Managing Partner, Mercer Advisors, will participate as a speaker. The speaking engagement will focus on themes such as legacy-building beyond wealth, the role of philanthropy in strengthening trust, and the growing importance of purpose-driven leadership among women clients.
"Savvy Ladies is dedicated to providing women with the financial education and resources they need to build secure futures," said Judy Herbst, Executive Director, Savvy Ladies. "By partnering with Invest in Others, we can further celebrate the volunteers and financial advisors who give back to our mission and to amplify the impact of the nonprofits they support. We are excited to honor this year's grant recipient at our Volunteer Summit."
Beyond the one-time grant opportunity, the collaboration includes strategic visibility and storytelling efforts throughout 2026. Invest in Others will highlight the grant recipient across its website, social media channels, and other communications platforms, amplifying the advisor's charitable leadership and impact. Through continued storytelling and shared thought leadership, the collaboration will aim to inspire other financial advisors to consider how charitable work and philanthropy can make a meaningful difference in their communities and strengthen the relationships they build with clients.
As Invest in Others celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2026, this collaboration underscores the Foundation's continued commitment to celebrating, amplifying, and inspiring the charitable work of the financial services community. Together, Invest in Others and Savvy Ladies aim to demonstrate how financial education, volunteerism, and philanthropy intersect to create lasting impact for women and communities nationwide.
