UNIONDALE, NY / ACCESS Newswire / June 9, 2025 / Marquis Who's Who has honored Dr. Catherine A. Oleksiw for her expertise in the field of psychology. Dr. Oleksiw celebrates many years of experience in her professional network and has been noted for her achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes she has accrued in her field.

Dr. Oleksiw's journey in psychology began when she enrolled in introductory psychology and philosophy classes at the University of Hartford during her senior year of high school. This early interest led Dr. Oleksiw to pursue higher education at the university, where she earned a bachelor's degree in psychology. Her career took off when she started working as an adjunct psychology professor for the University of Hartford and an educational consultant for the Connecticut Department of Education. Over the years, she honed her expertise in project management, program evaluation, training and strategic leadership through various research and executive roles with AED, The University of Texas at El Paso, Cambium Learning Group, the Center for Nonprofit Management and The Chicago School.
Dr. Oleksiw's commitment to her field is evident in her continuous pursuit of knowledge. She completed a Master of Education in educational psychology and a Master of Arts in psychology and education from the Teachers College at Columbia University and a Doctor of Philosophy in educational psychology with a focus on measurement and evaluation from Columbia University. She says, "Receiving a lifetime achievement award is meaningful to me. I believe that I have achieved success at the academic level - having a PhD in education psychology with a focus on measurement and evaluation. That's part of who I am."
Drawing on years of professional experience, Dr. Oleksiw excels as the managing principal of Measured Transitions LLC and as a department chair for business psychology at the Dallas campus of The Chicago School - College of Professional and Graduate Studies. In addition to this, she aligns herself with several organizations, including the American Educational Research Association, the American Psychological Association, the American Evaluation Association, the International Coaching Federation, and the North Texas chapter of the International Coaching Federation.
While Dr. Oleksiw's career has been filled with highlights, she takes the most pride in giving presentations and training school district educators about program evaluation design and local government tax assessors about multiple regression for property valuation purposes and serving as past president of the North Texas chapter of the International Coaching Federation. Looking forward, she intends to continue as business psychology department chair for The Chicago School, increase her visibility as a professional speaker, and author a book regarding a methodology for navigating the dissertation process, integrating both coaching and technical perspectives.
