UNIONDALE, NY / ACCESSWIRE / October 21, 2024 / Marquis Who's Who has honored Julia Kindelsberger for her expertise in software development. Ms. Kindelsberger's interest in software engineering was sparked at a young age by her early exposure to computers at home. During her formative years, she watched her father assemble and disassemble computers, inciting her curiosity about these machines.

When Ms. Kindelsberger entered higher education, she pursued knowledge in the field of software engineering. In 2015, she earned a bachelor's degree in information systems at the Technical University of Munich. She continued honing her knowledge by obtaining a master's degree in software engineering from the Technical University of Munich. She successfully completed her master's thesis in collaboration with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2018.

Throughout Ms. Kindelsberger's career in software development, she has held various roles, including consulting program manager, principal program manager, and senior technical staff member. She has also launched her tech startup with her colleagues in Munich, founding Nativou, a guide-as-a-service platform, in 2017.

Ms. Kindelsberger currently serves as the director of software development for Oracle, a multinational computer technology company. Her day-to-day work with Oracle involves overseeing many meetings and providing strategic direction while managing five research teams.

Additionally, Ms. Kindelsberger works as a lecturer at Ferdinand Porsche FernFH, an Austrian-based distance-learning university of applied sciences. There she teaches a course on front-end development, imparting her expertise to the next generation of software engineers.

One of Ms. Kindelsberger's most significant projects was conducting a large-scale study on human behavior at MIT, focusing on self-driving cars such as those manufactured by Tesla. This involved instrumenting over 20 cars, using computer vision and AI to analyze video footage, and conducting a comprehensive human behavior study, which was later published.

Over the years, Ms. Kindelsberger has garnered extensive knowledge of human-machine interaction design. She has promoted this knowledge across her field by authoring several academic papers, including those featured in the 12th International Joint Conference on Computer Vision, Imaging, and Computer Graphics Theory and Applications and the 1st Green in Software Engineering Workshop proceedings. Additionally, Ms. Kindelsberger's design ingenuity has contributed to acquiring several patents for graph visualization tools.

Beyond Ms. Kindelsberger's work as a software engineer, she has made civic contributions through her support of Das Neue Österreich und Liberales Forum (NEOS), a liberal political party in Austria that advocates for Austrians living abroad. Her role with NEOS focuses on creating communities for these expatriates, ensuring they remain connected and have a voice during internal Austrian elections.

Ms. Kindelsberger attributes much of her success to the advice and encouragement she received from her mentors. She acknowledges Lex Fridman, Hassan Chafi, and Eric Sedlar for the invaluable career guidance they imparted to her. For others embarking on careers in software development, she emphasizes the importance of seeking the right mentors and connections.

Ms. Kindelsberger has ambitious goals for the next five years of her career. She spends much of her time brainstorming new ideas and remains open to the possibility of launching another startup.
