Muse Sober Living, a boutique sober living home for musicians and artists, has officially opened in Voorhees, New Jersey. The residence is built for creative people in recovery, offering shared access to musical instruments, dedicated practice space, and an environment designed around artistic identity rather than asking residents to set it aside.

Located at 107 Sunset Drive in Voorhees, the home sits on a wooded property with a private pool and terrace. Inside, residents have shared access to two pianos including a grand piano, acoustic guitars, a handcrafted cajon drum, and dedicated space for keyboards, painting, and other artistic pursuits. Residents are welcome to bring their own instruments, and creative practice is built into the daily rhythm of the house.

Muse Sober Living operates on a peer-led accountability model with daily check-ins, structured routines, and resident participation in house culture. The home is intended for adults committed to long-term sobriety who want a recovery environment that supports creative identity. Muse welcomes musicians at every level, from professional performers to hobbyists, along with visual artists, writers, and others whose lives are connected to creative work.

Muse Sober Living is not a clinical or medical program. The home operates as a transitional living environment for residents who want to continue building their foundation in recovery, and/or for those whom have been advised by their physician that sober living is an appropriate next step.

The residence accepts inquiries from individuals and from family members exploring options for a loved one. Muse offers support for families navigating the decision, including guidance on how to start the conversation and what to expect from the transition into structured sober living.

The home joins a small but growing category of niche specialty sober living residences organized around a shared identity or interest. Where most sober living homes are general-purpose, Muse Sober Living is built for residents whose recovery is connected to artistic practice and the discipline of creative work.
