PUERTO VALLARTA, MEXICO - The 20th Annual Hook the Cure, held from November 6-9, 2025, concluded its most successful year yet, raising a remarkable $1.4 million for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. The ultimate all-inclusive fish, spa, and golf fundraiser took place at the stunning Villa Premiere Hotel in Puerto Vallarta, bringing together a dedicated community to support the mission to find a cure.
Co-chaired by Bob Huston and Jeff Jennison, with Will Huston serving as the CF ambassador, this year's event featured a star-studded lineup, including baseball legends Rick Honeycutt and Matt Young.
The excitement peaked with a live auction led by auctioneer extraordinaire Shawn Parr, which featured fabulous trips courtesy of American Airlines and over 125 unique items in the silent auction. Adding to the memorable weekend, Nashville recording artist Lucas Hoge enchanted guests with a special acoustic performance.
The fundraising got an incredible boost when long-time supporters kicked off the "Bid for a Cure" with a generous $300,000 donation. Thanks to the collective efforts of attendees, sponsors, and supporters, Hook the Cure achieved the phenomenal total of $1.4 million, significantly advancing research and care for this life-threatening disease.
