The expansion, providing 6,000 square feet of additional space, promises to provide four times more capacity in the region for remote workers and company offsite retreats. Etsy recently announced they would no longer occupy the same building after ten years of use as they shift to remote work.
"We've seen an influx of demand, especially since last September, for more co-working space and offsite retreat venues in 'Zoom Towns' such as Hudson where so many more people now live and work remotely since the pandemic," said CEO & Co-Founder Frederick Pikovsky. "Many remote workers have simply grown restless of working from home, and companies would rather bond with their teams on offsite retreats than pay for a centralized office that most employees won't show up to on a daily basis anymore."
Barnfox has already begun to pre-sell memberships and scheduling tours of the new space on their website, which is officially slated to open before end of this Fall 2022. Barnfox will provide members with more private office and dedicated desk space options starting from $449 to $849 per month, as well as an exclusive venue space for offsite retreats.
The companies CEO has also alluded to plans for more Barnfox locations due to launch in the coming year. "The obvious product we're selling is access to beautifully designed work and retreat spaces in unique destinations.
