Phoenix Mercury shrug off widespread criticism, show confidence in decision to hire Tibbetts as coach

The resume of Nate Tibbetts, although impressive, had many questioning the Mercury’s decision to hire him as the head coach considering he has not experience coaching women's teams. Previously an assistant with the Orlando Magic, Tibbetts has been involved in the NBA for nearly two decades.
