Pittsburgh Mayor Ed Gainey releases preliminary 2023 city budget

The mayor said that in creating the 2023 budget, which will still see benefits from an injection of federal American Rescue Plan Act funding, residents representing 67 of the city’s 90 neighborhoods were surveyed and consulted on what exactly should be prioritized.
