Pan Pictures has proudly announced the launch of its new documentary film that is going to be a world record film about climbing mountains. The title of this film is ‘The 82’, and it is an inspiring new upcoming documentary film about climbing 82 mountain peaks in only 59 days. To release this world record film worldwide, the German production company has recently launched a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter, and it is welcoming generous community support and backing.
“The 82 is a project in which all alpine four-thousanders in Europe, 82 in total, are climbed in 59 days.” Said Sebastian Schwertl, the filmmaker and producer, while introducing this project to the Kickstarter community. The two mountain guides Christian Hölzl (23) and Rolando Varesco (42) will start their world record attempt on June 15 in Switzerland and complete the last scheduled ascent and descent on July 28 in France. Five different sports of mountaineering, climbing, ice climbing, skiing (tour), and cycling will be used, and the two climbers will cover almost 60,000 meters of altitude on foot.
