A testament to the company’s dedication to its craft is the Versailles Collection, Royal Paris’s most ornate unit. It is now made with hand-painted Baccarat glass; a jewelry finish in gold, bi-colour, or silver; a matching scoop; and a semi-precious stone base in malachite, lapis lazuli, or black obsidian.

This announcement also introduces coffee connoisseurs to the Avant Garde Collection, which features a more contemporary style. In addition to the luxury finish and base similar to that of the Versailles Collection, this unit now comes with decorative cut Baccarat glass.

Royal Paris’s balancing syphon coffee systems are heavily inspired by the dining traditions of the 1850s French aristocracy. The bourgeoisie of the time demanded not only the finest in cuisine but also exquisite workmanship for even the most utilitarian objects. As such, serving coffee made “the Royal Way” is designed to evoke images of formal banquets of foreign embassies and ballroom dances in faraway castles.

More than fifty hours go into crafting a Royal Paris coffee machine, and each device is created by award-winning Parisian sculptor Jean-Luc Rieutort. All the glasswork is custom-made exclusively at the Baccarat factory in Nancy, France, with each piece mouth-blown, etched, and hand-painted in 24-karat gold.

Balancing syphons are prized for producing a clear and flawless brew and became cherished dining pieces in royal households across Europe. Unlike the electricity-powered coffee machines of today, these systems combine fire, steam, pressure, vacuum, and gravity to brew the most highly-prized coffee in the world.

This announcement is in line with the company’s commitment to creating an atmosphere of elegance and distinction in order to produce a unique dining experience.

Royal Paris was founded in 2017 by coffee expert Maria Tindemans to celebrate the original balancing coffee syphons used in European courts during the 1800s. The company has developed a strong reputation for its high-quality, elegant workmanship and devotion to celebrating the history, tradition, and practices surrounding the drinking of coffee.

A spokesperson for the company said, “These coffee machines awaken all senses by refocusing the coffee experience to an immersive ceremony that ignites a symphony of magic and taste. Royal Paris is a commitment to making every moment of your life extraordinary and celebrating with those you love.”
