FutureNet Foundation Signs MOU to Mark Beginning of Strategic Partnership in Fighting Malnutrition

By: Get News

Dubai & Warsaw – The Intergovernmental Institution for the Use of Micro-Algae Spirulina Against Malnutrition signs a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the FutureNet Foundation to mark the beginning of a strategic partnership. The partnership is geared towards furthering humanitarian and charitable work and to support the organization’s efforts to combat malnutrition and hunger.

The MOU was signed yesterday at the FutureNet Foundation’s Warsaw Headquarters, in the presence of representatives from both the organization and FutureNet.  The organization was represented by its Secretary-General, R. Maradona, Global Goodwill Ambassador Karim Gharbi (K2RHYM), and FutureNet by its two founders, Roman Zeiman and Stephen Morgenston.

The intention to enter a strategic partnership was announced earlier this year, when K2RHYM (Karim Gharib), Tunisian international rapper and the Global Goodwill Ambassador (GWA) was offered a sponsorship by FutureNet Foundation, following his winning of the award for Best Arab Song for the 2018 World Cup. The ceremony had taken place in July 2018, in New York.

Secretary-General R. Maradona expressed hope and positivity about this strategic partnership. In a statement after the signing, he expressed, “I have high hopes for this strategic partnership with FutureNet. Further, the involvement of our Goodwill Ambassador K2RHYM, adds more value to the work that we are doing globally. The aim of our partnership with FutureNet is to further support our mandate in the elimination of malnutrition, the number one killer in the world.”

Following this, GWA K2RHYM has been involved on several goodwill initiatives. As a part of his global work, the international artist undertook a humanitarian ‘concrete deed’ by making a significant donation of 50,000 Tunisian Dinars to the SOS Children’s Village in Gammarth, Tunisia, during his visit to his homeland.

The SOS Children’s Village in Gammarth is one of many such villages globally, and is a part of the SOS Children’s Villages organization – a non-governmental, non-denominational global entity. The Villages protect and care for children who have lost parental care, or are on the verge of losing it. They work with communities, partners and states to protect children’s rights.

The Villages run solely on the generous support of sponsors and donors, institutional and corporate partners and loyal friends. Our GWA K2RHYM’s donation was much needed at the SOS Gammarth Children’s Village, and came at a good time for them.
