Item 8.01 Other Events.
On December 15, 2005, the Board of Directors of Dex Media, Inc. declared a quarterly cash
dividend of $0.09 per common share, payable on January 16, 2006 to stockholders of record as of
January 3, 2006. On December 15, 2005, the Company issued a press release regarding the declaration
of such dividend. A copy of such press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
