On November 13, 2014, Hyatt Hotels Corporation (the “Company” or “Hyatt”) issued a press release announcing the completion of the previously announced sale by affiliates of the Company of 38 hotels to a company organized by Lone Star Funds (the “Purchaser”) for approximately $590 million. The portfolio of 38 hotels consists of Hyatt Place and Hyatt House hotels comprising 4,950 rooms across more than ten states. The full text of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
