Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Principal Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Principal Officers
On June 16, 2006, the Board of Directors of Neogen Corporation elected Lon M. Bohannon as the Company’s President and Chief Operating Officer and James L. Herbert as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer. Bohannon, 53, had formerly been Vice President and COO and Herbert, 65, had been President and CEO. Jack C. Parnell, who was Chairman of the Board, will continue as a Director. The press release issued by the Company regarding these changes is attached as an exhibit to this Form 8-K.
