Item 7.01    Regulation FD Disclosure.

On December 3, 2009, The Children’s Place Retail Stores, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release containing the Company's sales results for the four-week period ended November 28, 2009.  A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
