Item 8.01 Other Events.

On October 6, 2008 Moog Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that it had been selected as the complete flight control system supplier for the Gulfstream G-250 business jet. The information contained in this press release, which is filed as exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K, is incorporated herein by reference.

This announcement has no impact on the Company’s most recent financial guidance for the 2009 fiscal year as communicated in its Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on August 4, 2008.
