8.01 Other Events
On
December 13, 2007, Emerging Vision, Inc’s (the “Company”) independent inspector
of election, Broadridge Financial Solutions, Inc., certified the voting results
of the Company’s 2007 Annual Meeting of Shareholders (the "Annual
Meeting"), held on December 13, 2007. Having received approximately
54.72% of the votes cast, Seymour G. Siegel, Alan Cohen and Harvey Ross have
been re-elected to serve as Class I directors of the Company, for a term of
two
(2) years expiring in 2009. Approximately 94.41% of the Company’s
outstanding shares were voted at the meeting.
