Heads of Franklin, Jefferson counties join Steve Ehlmann in calling for one prosecutor for city of St. Louis, St. Louis County

The leaders of two outlying counties on Thursday joined St. Charles County Executive Steve Ehlmann's call for consolidating prosecutorial offices in the city of St. Louis and St. Louis County in a bid to combat crime. It's a move aimed at putting pressure on the state legislature in the final weeks of its session.
