United Airlines to pay $49 million to resolve criminal fraud charges

United Airlines Holdings Inc. has agreed to pay more than $49 million in a non-prosecution agreement after it admitted to charges that it perpetrated a criminal scheme to defraud the U.S. Postal Service, the Department of Justice said in a press release Friday.
